¶ FormWork
The FormWork application is part of the Revit add-in A400-RTools. This application allows users to calculate the formwork area for concrete elements efficiently within a Revit model.
¶ How It Works
¶ Shared Parameters
Upon the first execution in a model, the application automatically creates four shared parameters:

¶ Define Exclusion List
Users can configure exclusions before calculating formwork areas by defining:
- Top Face Angle Threshold – Specify the angle above which formwork is not required on the element's top face.
- Excluded Elements – Define which elements should be ignored in calculations.
- Excluded Faces – Specify faces that should not be considered for formwork calculations.

Clean Parameter Values (Optional)
- If necessary, reset parameter values before calculation by navigating to:
Tools -> Clear Values

- Choose the desired elements and execute the calculation.

- Enable visual representation of formwork areas using triangles.
